Lost in You tells the story of Kaia. A beautiful, confident woman in a peaceful, loving relationship with her college sweetheart, Adam. But all is not what it seems. When she looks in the mirror, she sees is a soulless shell with a lonely woman trapped inside, desperately screaming for help.

Over the years, Adam has been a life-preserver for her in the raging sea of her life. No matter how hard she clings to him, though, she will never love him with the same passion he feels for her.

Little does she know, but she will soon be tempted and tested in ways she never thought possible. It will take every bit of strength and courage she has to overcome past trauma and turmoil to find the woman she could be, the woman she lost so long ago.

Introducing New Author, Kally Khan

You may have already read a bit about Kally Khan but we wanted to go a bit deeper… Here, she answers five questions to give you an exclusive insight into her writing and inspirations, as well as the authors she most admires.

Why did you start writing?

“Writing helps me to express my feelings and release thoughts I have inside of me that I would otherwise not say out loud.”

What inspires your novels?

“I have different muses in my life but the person who inspired me the most to finally write my debut novel, Copy of Me, was a fellow author and friend, Sherry Pitts.”

Did you enjoy writing at school in England?

“I didn’t enjoy English class itself, but I was known for writing extracurricular short stories that may have been inappropriate at the time…”

Who are your favorite authors and why?

“Jane Austen and Stephen King.

Jane Austen because I can lose myself in her books. Even though they take place in a different era, when society was so much more conservative, the books still address issues that apply, especially to women, today.

Stephen King has an amazing creative mind and is able to interconnect all his stories with one another. I want to spend an entire day with him, picking his brains, to find out more about his thought process when writing his books.”

What do you want your readers to take away from your novels?

“I want my readers to connect with my writing, whether it’s with an experience or a feeling. I want other women reading my work to know that it’s okay not to have everything together. We are who we are and our flaws are there because of what has shaped us in our past – but so are our strengths.”
